This intervention focuses on strengthening institutional support systems for education to enhance effective eLearning and technology-enabled learning in educational institutions (EIs).
The area supports the EIs in developing, adapting, and implementing eLearning policies and implementation strategies at the institutional level to ensure effective and sustainable eLearning. Policy gaps that cause the exclusion of vulnerable groups—indigent students, young women, Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), and refugees—from accessing eLearning are identified and addressed through the assessment and review of current eLearning policies in the EIs.
This is achieved by providing capacity-building training for the EI leadership on effective policy development and management. Technical support is offered to leadership teams as they develop their institutional eLearning policies and implementation strategies. Routine follow-ups are made to ensure effective execution and management of these institutional eLearning policies.
